Quebec proposes new regulation to adjust pension plan exemptions under Supplemental Pension Plans Act

The Quebec government has released proposed amendments to the Regulation respecting the exemption of certain categories of pension plans from the application of provisions of the Supplemental Pension Plans Act.
The proposed changes relate to flexible pension plans, member-funded pension plans, and the requirements for pension committees and financial report audits in respect of small pension plans.
