We frequently advise Boards of Directors and senior management on all aspects of incentive compensation and equity compensation plans for C-level executives, senior management and other employees.

We work closely with Boards, employers and compensation consultants on the design, drafting and implementation of all types of incentive plans, including annual cash bonus, stock option, share appreciation rights, performance appreciation rights, restricted share unit (RSU), performance share unit (PSU), deferred share unit (DSU), and other short- and long-term incentive (LTI) plans and retention arrangements.   We also advise Boards and employers in connection with change-of-control arrangements for C-level executives and other key employees.

We assist employers and their counsel on executive compensation aspects of offer letters and employment agreements for senior executives, as well as compensation and tax aspects of termination packages and settlements for departing executives. We also advise broader public sector clients on the pension and benefits aspects of compensation restraint legislation.
