B.C. Bill 43, Money Judgement Enforcement Consequential Amendments and Transitional Provisions Act, receives Royal Assent

B.C.’s Bill 43, Money Judgment Enforcement Consequential Amendments and Transitional Provisions Act, received Royal Assent on November 30th.
The bill amends section 70 (no disposition or attachment of benefits and money) of the Pension Benefits Standards Act as follows:
- subsection (4), (5)(c)(i), and 6(a) are amended to incorporate reference to a notice of seizure under the Money Judgment Enforcement Act; and
- subsection 6(a) and 6(b) are amended to remove reference to the Court Order Enforcement Act.
