BCFSA publishes results from consultation on natural catastrophes, climate risks

The BC Financial Services Authority (BCFSA) has released the findings from its 2023 consultation on natural catastrophes and climate-related risks (NCCR) and the impacts of these risks on each of the segments it regulates.

In July of 2023, BCFSA released a discussion paper, inviting feedback from regulated entities, individuals, stakeholders and the public.

Page 16-17 of the report includes a summary of the pension-related issues raised by stakeholders as well as responses from BCFSA.
