BCFSA Updates Pension Plan Forms

The British Columbia Financial Services Authority (BCFSA) has issued an advisory announcing updates to three pension plan forms.
The updated forms are as follows:
• the Application for Registration of a Pension Plan;
• the Application for Registration of an Amendment to a Pension Plan; and
• the Application for Amendment to a Supporting Plan Document.
BCFSA has advised that the updates are intended to ensure the completeness of submissions and reduce processing delays. It has also advised that the updated forms are to be used effective immediately. Pension plan administrators and other stakeholders submitting these filings should review the updated forms and ensure they are using the current versions for future submissions.
