CAPSA publishes commentary guide on 2020 Multi-jurisdictional Pension Plans agreement

In October, the Canadian Association of Pension Supervisory Authorities (CAPSA) published its Commentary Guide regarding the 2020 proposed Agreement Multi-jurisdictional Pension Plans.

The guide’s purpose is to outline the provisions of the Agreement as per the 2023 amendment, updating the 2020 Agreement, and provide explanatory notes for each provision.

Signatories include Canada (federally), Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec and Saskatchewan.
