Financial Post: CPP Investments Halt Efforts to Research Investment Opportunities in Cryptocurrency Market

The Financial Post reports that after forming a three-member team in early 2021 to research crypto currencies and blockchain-related businesses, CPP Investments decided to abandon the pursuit in late 2022.

“You want to really think about what the underlying intrinsic value is of some of these assets and build your portfolio accordingly,” CPPI chief executive, John Graham, said in a June speech.
