Nova Scotia's legislature recently introduced Bill 339, the Financial Measures (Fall 2023) Act, which includes a new Private Sector Pension Plan Transfer Act.

The legislation, which had its first reading on Oct. 13, 2023, would enable private sector pension plans to transfer into the Public Service Superannuation Plan (PSSP or Plan).
