Ontario updates regulations under Pooled Registered Pension Plans Act and Pension Benefits Act

Ontario has updated its regulations under the Pooled Registered Pension Plans Act and the Pension Benefits Act, respectively, to reflect the addition of New Brunswick as party to the 2023 Agreement amending the Multilateral Agreement Respecting Pooled Registered Pension Plans and Voluntary Retirement Savings Plans effective May 1, 2023, and the addition of Manitoba and Newfoundland and Labrador as a party to the 2023 Agreement Amending the 2020 Agreement Respecting Multi-Jurisdictional Pension Plans effective July 1, 2023.
