Liam maintains a broad practice covering all aspects of pension, benefits and executive compensation law. He regularly provides advice to public and private sector clients on pension plan design, administration, compliance, funding and governance.

Prior to his call to the bar, Liam completed his articles at BMKP Law. Liam’s advice is informed by his past experience working in the pensions and benefits advisory group of a large third-party professional services firm, and in retirement plan services for a multinational financial services firm.

Representative Work

• Advised an Ontario broader public sector employer in a rights arbitration involving a dispute related to its defined benefit pension plan (assets in excess of $1 billion).
• Conducted legal research for interest arbitration involving a complex pension matter concerning a $15 billion federally regulated defined benefit pension plan.
